JRAIA is composed of 171 companies including regular members, associate members and related organizations. (As of March 2025) JRAIA aims to promote and improve production, distribution and consumption of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment and their applied products, as well as auxiliary devices and components, automatic controls and accessories and thereby contribute to the steady development of Japanese industry and the improvement in people’s standard of living. Organized by JRAIA, HVAC&R JAPAN 2026 will be held at Tokyo Big Sight, East Exhibition Halls 4-6, as the largest trade show in Japan. Cutting-edge technologies, systems, and the latest products and services will be exhibited under the main theme: "Find the Future with HVAC&R." Initiatives to achieve carbon neutrality in 2050 continue to be major issues for the refrigeration and air conditioning industry. Various technological innovations that contribute to the creation of a sustainable society, including carbon neutrality, are advancing, attracting more attention and increasing expectations. In 2024, the exhibition had many visitors both from Japan and abroad, and the number of visitors reached a record high.
