- product introduction:Due to the use of stop-valves in refrigerators (valve after the condenser that closes when the compressor stops), compressors (usually variable speed) need to start up with a pressure difference between suction and discharge.
The Compressor Life Time test system for Start Against Unbalanced Pressure (CLT_STAUP or STAUP in short) is applied for performing accelerated life time tests. The system performs continuous, repeating, start/stop cycles on variable capacity and fixed capacity compressors with a pressure difference between suction and discharge side. In addition also tests with continuously running compressors can be performed.
The STAUP controls the suction pressure of the 12 compressors that can be installed on the system, with the discharge pressure set by the operator via the amount of refrigerant charge applied. The refrigerant circuit is divided into 2 fully separated parts (A and B). On each circuit 6 compressor can be installed. The suction and discharge pressure, power supply and refrigerant can be set independently for these 2 circuits. The software controls the start / stop cycle of the compressor by main power, frequency signal or data Bus control. Pressures, temperatures, compressor power data and compressor start up failures are all recorded.
