I. Function
The air conditioner will produce a large amount of condensed water during refrigeration. When the installation position is lower than the outlet of the drainage pipe, the natural drainage is not smooth or gravity cannot flow, the condensate pump will take the initiative to pump water and force drainage to prevent water from overflowing and damaging the ceiling, floor or wall.
Second, the working principle
The water pump is installed below or beside the water receiving tray of the air conditioner;
Condensed water flows into the water collecting box, and the water level rises to a certain height;
Float switch or water level sensor triggers, and the water pump automatically starts pumping;
Water is discharged to the outdoor or sewer through the drainage pipe, and the water pump automatically stops after the water level drops.
Third, the main structure
Pump body: small centrifugal/diaphragm water pump with low noise and durability;
Water collecting box: collecting condensed water;
Float/electronic water level switch: control start and stop;
Overflow protection switch: when the water is full, alarm can be given and the air conditioner can be stopped to prevent water leakage.
Fourth, the applicable scenarios
Central air conditioning, air duct machine, embedded smallpox machine;
Low installation position of air conditioner, long drainage pipe and insufficient slope;
The suspended ceiling is concealed, which is not convenient for natural drainage.
