Founded in 1985, Beijing International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) is a professional exhibition-organizing department under CCPIT Beijing (CCOIC Beijing). The predecessor of BIEC was the Exhibition Department of CCPIT Beijing, which was one of the organizations with the longest history in organizing international exhibitions both at home and abroad.
BIEC has successfully organized 180 international exhibitions in China since 1978, which attract more than 15,000 companies and manufacturers from 30 countries and regions as well as large and medium-sized enterprises. These exhibitions cover the areas of transportation, power & energy, sound & music instruments, press and print, refrigeration & air-conditioning, military logistics, elevators and real estate, etc. These exhibitions have greasy boosted the development of those relevant industries. Some of them have become the most influential international professional exhibition in China and enjoy a very high reputation in the international exhibition industry. At present, all the exhibition organized by BIEC have developed into periodic professional exhibitions. At the same time, BIEC has opened up a new way to combine together exhibition, trade, technical seminars, inviting outside investment and market exploration, and it provides broader space for both Chinese and foreign enterprises to promote economic and technology exchanges and cooperation in various fields.
BIEC has also arranged for many import and export corporations and industrial & commercial enterprises, most of which are from Beijing, to hold exhibitions abroad and to participate in more than 50 international exhibitions and fairs in thirty countries and regions of the world BIEC has made great contributions to the mutual understanding between Beijing and other countries and to the development of China's foreign trade.
Over the years, Beijing International Exhibition Centre has accumulated rich experience in organizing exhibitions and now has a large qualified and competent staff.
