Chinese Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Industry Association (CRAA) is a nationwide organization consisting of refrigeration and air-conditioning manufacturing enterprises as well as research and designing institute and academies with the missions of coordinating the development of the industry, liaison and serving, consulting and guiding the enterprises of the industry under the requirement of government policies, laws and decrees reflecting the desire and requirement of the enterprises, bridging the government and the enterprises, assisting government departments on industry management.

　　 Participated the International Committee of Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Manufacture Association (ICARMA) in 1998, CRAA is the first member country of non-sponsor nations. CRAA is continuous strengthening the liaison with refrigeration and air-conditioning associations in USA, Canada, European countries, Japan, Korea, Brazil and Turkey and establishes the close contacts and communications and cooperation with the refrigeration and air-conditioning enterprises worldwide, promoting the development of the enterprises in the industry and mediating the channels for them to take part in the international competition.

　　 CRAA was founded in April, 1989 and its secretariat locates in Beijing. Representing the manufacturers in the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry, it has 440 members.
The main missions of CRAA:
　　 1, Carrying out research and study submitting suggestions on economic policies and legislation;
　　 2, Carrying out statistics of the industry, collecting, analyzing and publishing industry information as well as the consultancy business;
　　 3, Publishing "Refrigeration and Air-conditioning" and "Chinese Refrigeration and Air-conditioning";
　　 4, Organizing exhibitions;
　　 5, Authenticating the technology achievements and promoting their usage;
　　 6, Carrying out the product recommendation in the industry and pursuing product certification system;
　　 7, Taking part in formulating of the national and industry standard and promoting and supervising its implementation;
　　 8, Carrying out technology exchange and cooperation nationally and internationally.
