The Xingjiang Haihong first food cold chain distribution centre in the Economic and Technology Development Zone of Urumqi City started construction on September 29. This center integrated food processing，storage，display，trading and distribute，covering a total land area of 256,000 ㎡，and a total floor space of building area of 360,000㎡. The total investment amount to RMB 800 million（US ＄125 million） and will be constructed in three phases. After completion，the distribution center will have 200,000 tons of storage capacity，nine product display areas and a supermarket. The distribution volume is expected to reach 1 million tons，with annual trading revenue of RMB 8 billion（US＄1.25billion）.
